Another month and another HR Victoria monthly meet, this time we went for a cruise on some twisty roads to Buxton for some over sized burgers.
Check out the full event write-up and pics after the jump!
We decided to go on a cruise for our third HR Victoria meet, there was plenty of interest when we announced this month cruise, but due to some unfortunate events and terrible weather most Vic AE86 owners couldn’t make it. So it wasn’t as big as the previous meet, but we still had a whole heap of fun!
The day started off at our meeting point which was located at Campbellfield, I was really expecting no one to arrive as the weather was terrible! But I was amazed some dedicated AE86 owners showed up for this month event! After waiting for an hour and realizing no one else was gonna show up we decided to head off.
With my amazing navigation skills we managed to get lost in 20 minutes, but luckily Aaron was there to save the day and leads us to out destination (Thanks heaps mate!). On the way we stumbled on some pretty cool roads which I would love to drive on again.
After a quick stop at Kinglake we went through the Black Spur which was alot of fun! Would definitely go back there on a dryer day.
We finally arrived at our destination, Igloo Roadhouse in Buxton where they sell some pretty big burgers. The burgers were really good but just abit to big for my appetite.
After nearly exploding from eating so much food, we went on the Black Spur for one more quick run then we all decided to call it a day and headed home.
Hopefully everyone will have their cars fixed in time for the next HR meet in August! Keep an eye on the forums for the times, locations and dates!
