So you’ve finally got that ecu upgrade working and you’re running your quad throttle setup direct to air, but what about that ever looming danger of the dreaded defect station? Well Mekaru has the answer!
Coming in a ready to go kit, the Mekaru Quad-throttle intake system will keep your setup legal, all the while giving ease of removal once you hit the track. The setup is designed towards performance with the intlet from the intake box to the intake ‘manifold’ at 100mm in diameter. The box utilizes a pod filter inside the carbon surround which can also be fitted with a col-air-induction pipe on the underside to further aid denser-air intake.
But it’s not cheap. At 126,000 yen for the carbon version and slightly less for the FRP alternative at 99,540, it is pricey, but it might be worth it for those of your out there with aversion to the boys-in-blue.
