Honda Love
Yes, you did see that correctly: a Honda steering wheel inside a hachi! :) RA64 Freddy spotted this US Corolla GT-S on a meet in a local car park called Tropical Park. It turned out to be a 90% Honda/Acura meet but he thought he stroke gold when he spotted a hachi among them!
This Hachi was one of two ’Yotas at the meet..ehhh..but it had a Honda soul…I was looking for 4AG with ITB’s..
When he looked inside he saw that even the steering wheel had been swapped…
But is it that bad? No, I think not. The hachi is now powered by a F20c so its heart is already a Honda anyway so go with the flow!

AE86 vs Honda Touge! Fake?
Here’s some rather old footage worth digging up. It comes from a Drift Tengoku VHS and the main reason I’ve posted it? Well do you think the footage has been sped up artificially? It does look rather quick at times, perhaps too quick!
The engine notes however sound on-song and don’t sound like it’s been doctored. The AE86 in front sets a pretty good pace for the driver of the EG6 (or EK9) Civic in hot pursuit. I’ll leave the verdict up to you guys; leave a comment with your thoughts!
UPDATE: The video’s uploader changed the embed restrictions on us, so here’s a link to the video instead. Apologies to those who couldn’t play the embedded vid. :)
AE86 vs VTEC Battle in Tsukuba Circuit
Tsukuba Circuit played host to an AE86 vs VTEC Track Day. Which consisted of an open practice through out the day, with a race to finish it off in the afternoon. The race combined the fastest ’86s and Hondas from the earlier practice sessions and put them head-to-head in an all out battle for NA superiority. The race was taken out by the Techno Pro Spirit AE86 Levin affectionatly known as ‘Taro’ but it wasn’t given an easy time as it was pushed all the way to a nail-biting finish by the YellowFactory EG Civic (both pictured above).
Some pictures from the event after the jump.
